Vampire Diaries: 04x03 – The Rager

Elena and her mix of emotions while deciding to continue her senior years cause some extreme levels of reactions in this episode while she continues to feed from Matt. The hunter taking venom from Tyler hatches his plan to help the town of their ‘problem’ while the town is placed under a curfew. Even while trying to convince Jeremy that there is something in his linage that is that of a hunter and gets him to help uncover some secrets. Damon is determined to not only be there for Elena but also rid the town of the hunter even forming a new Team Damon to do so. Tyler has an unexpected visitor come to Mystic Falls. Rebekah throws a raver or rager of a party.

Damon and Stefan fighting like old times – oh she’s your girlfriend now, hmm?
Matt being not only a friend but also now a source of life for Elena, always the good friend
Klaus back in his own body – missed that accent just a bit
Elena showing ever more of her vampy side with rage
Tyler’s new friend Hayley showing up – oh complications (it’s a witch okay maybe not in this show)
The Doctor coming to Damon’s rescue – aww someone has a new friend
Matt selling out Rebekah to the hunter – maybe this time she’ll be taken care of
Elena running to Damon for bourbon – alcohol in underwear drawer
Half naked Damon – so totally staying for the show now take it off
Kill Rebekah or Motorcycle – tough choice but drink first
Damon getting the job done with a little help from an unlikely partner and with a bang
Elena seeing Damon’s face while making out with Stefan
Rebekah’s vision of Matt telling her she’s not worth of love – talk about a heart ripper
Klaus coming to save Elena from the werewolf venom in her system
Caroline and Stefan’s heart to heart and friendship

Dislikes:

The hunter Conner taking the venom from Tyler’s fangs for whatever reason
Rebekah trying to be miss popular while trying to bury the hatchet with Elena
Conner trying to recruit Jeremy to the hunter side
Damon getting arrow while he snoops around
Rebekah trying to become buddy buddy with Matt the apology was a surprise
Rebekah stealing Elena’s ring and throwing it down the sink
Watching Elena and Stefan make up and the flash of fangs – only see Katherine
Elena almost draining Matt dry – thank gods for Damon and his protectiveness
The Hunter still being alive – Klaus wtf are you thinking?

The Vampire Diaries: 04x01 – Growing Pains

Tempers flare, emotions stir, sacrifices are made and secrets are revealed in this opening of the fourth season.

Everyone has to come to the realization that Elena is in transition into a vampire, some of mad, some are concerned and others wish they were the ones dead. And with this change come some surprising effects and some memories that someone didn’t expect to be remembered come back. Will these memories affect Elena’s feelings for Damon and/or possible Stefan. Along with all this the town is slowly being taken back over by the pastor and his council which are determined to round up all the vampires and werewolves in town. As well as stripe the allies of their authorities and jobs because of their connections. Meanwhile Bonnie is trying to do all she can again to save not only her friend but keep everyone safe from Klaus’s evil ways. They will exhaust every possible option to make sure Elena lives but whether that is as a human or a vampire.

Likes:

Damon being Damon and moody about the Elena
Elena’s laughing fit, it was kind of interesting and seems her change will be like no one else’s
Elena starting to remember the things that Damon made her forget
Bye bye Rebekah; won’t miss you much if the Council does something to you
Tyler…erm Klaus to the rescue, but of course it’s all about Caroline
Bonnie wanting to go to the other side to get Elena back – it didn’t work
Damon always being the hero to get Elena and Stefan out of the holding cells
Elena pouncing on Damon to get him off of Matt
Damon’s look on his face when Elena told him that she remembered when he compelled her
Rebekah standing up to Klaus and his hybrid ways
Will admit that the Stefan and Elena scene at the end was cute
Elena’s daylight ring which is so pretty

Dislikes:

Klaus being in Tyler’s body
The pastor and council taking over the town and removing the supernaturals along with their allies
Damon hurting Matt, bad vampire put the human down it’s not his fault be mad at Stefan
Caroline cutting Tyler/Klaus off from telling her what is going on – bring on the hot hybrid sex
Bonnie wanting to go to the other side to get Elena back – it didn’t work
Elena’s confession while dying even with the knowledge/memories she new reclaims about Damon
The other witches taking it out on Bonnie’s Gran for what Bonnie wants to do to do for her friends
Torturous slow moving blood of the guard so that Elena can feed to live
The pastor blowing up his council; that’s just boarding on cult

The Vampire Diaries | 03x12 – The Ties That Bind
Original Air Date: January 19^th–2012

Overview: Bonnie is reunited with her estranged mother after over ten years of feeling abandoned. Klaus negotiates with Stefan to control the coffins of his family member. Tyler tries to regain his free will from Klaus while interesting developments with Caroline surface. Damon becomes intrigued by Alaric’s new friend, Dr. Fell after discovering the staked medical examiner and ex-boyfriend to the doctor.

Favorite Quote: “I think psychopaths are incredibly high maintenance.” –Damon

Likes:

Elena helping Bonnie to track down her mother and Damon yet again comes to save the day – out hero. And the cute awkward moment between Elena and Damon before he reveals to Bonnie that he kissed Elena. Now it’s weird.
Tyler coming to Caroline and bringing her father to help break the sire bond with Klaus. Maybe not totally aware of Caroline’s new unspoken loyalty to Klaus for saving her life.
Bonnie and Elena talking about the kiss in the car while Stefan as always has to play big brother and check up while creepy enough is standing in the kitchen with all the stacks of reports and is holding the one with all the information of Bonne’s mother on it. Someone needs their privileges revoked.
Bonnie getting to meet her step-brother and mom and finding out the Elena’s adoptive mother Miranda was Abbey’s best friend. And that Miranda was the reason that Abbey left town because a Michael came looking for the doppelganger and no one could manage to kill him to Abbey used her power to drawn him out of to steal in crypt. He almost killed Abbey and she lost all her powers. And despite all this, Abbey is willing to help Bonnie. Including getting her magic back to do all she can for Bonnie now.
Damon stands up for Alaric against Dr. Fell who happened to sign the death certificate as an animal attack and her ‘psycho’ ways.
Abbey using her phone to tell Bonnie to warn her friends while putting on a good little show for the Klaus lackey despite the fact that if Bonnie doesn’t reveal where the coffin is that Jamie is compelled to killed himself.
Seeing a little bit of the old Stefan while Elena gets the bullet out of his chest and looks at her with new eyes and sees how much more than a useless human she is. And the realization of hurt in his eyes when Elena tells him about kissing Damon looks like more than a bullet went through that stone heart.
Alaric letting someone in to his little secret with Dr. Fell which is nice for him but think this might come and bite him in the butt because she’s out for blood – no pun intended and might use Alaric to get what she wants.
The return of Elijah, only to rip hearts out.

Dislikes:

Bonnie having the same weird dream about the locked coffin only slightly more disturbing then the first time since now she dreams she’s in the coffin and her mother opens it.
Alaric and Dr. Fell – was all for this little couple because Alaric needed some happy but with the possibility of a link to the medial examiner’s death to Fell then it kind of taints it all. Alaric is a good character and would hate to lose him before he made the ‘good’ doc unhappy.
Klaus is in the house – what are the rules for other vampire’s house in this case for entering? While Stefan still tries to be ‘crazy’ which we can still see the gaps in that façade.
Klaus using lackeys to go after Abbey before Bonnie and Elena can get there – some much for the ‘good’ side being ahead of the game. To which he used compulsion on both Abbey and the step-brother. Possibly Abbey isn’t telling the whole truth about her powers since using something on Bonnie that muted her magic to kidnap her while Stefan gets shot by the step-brother Jamie and Elena gets tied up all so Klaus can find out where the coffins are.
Watching Tyler transform in order to get Caroline’s dad to help him break the sire bond with Klaus. It’s so painful to watch him do the one thing he hates doing most in the whole world. The things that man will do for Caroline and the things Caroline’s dad will do to protect is daughter even if it seems hurting someone she loves.
Dr. Fell stabbing Damon in the neck with vervain and stealing his blood – talk about psycho; please insert Psycho theme music here.
The witches getting a little hurt on Klaus for threatening them before showing Klaus where the coffins are – so much for being all powerful but good thing they don’t want Bonnie hurt.
Daniel Forbes being the over protecting father and banning Tyler from seeing Caroline until his bond with Klaus is over.
Stefan hitting Damon most likely for the kiss with Elena which is now something he can feel bad about but not sorry because Damon was there for Elena when Stefan was off being crazy.
Klaus getting this ‘family’ back – but all things come with a price and that includes some things you didn’t really want.
Personal dislike – claims of no new episode next week which a major dislike.

WTF:

Dr. Fell using vampire blood to save patients instead of actually being a doctor. Talk about ‘modern medicine’.

The Vampire Diaries: 03x11 – Our Town

Overview: Elena, Bonnie and Matt plan a surprise 18th birthday party for Caroline. Meanwhile, Damon and Stefan disagree over the best way to handle Klaus; and Alaric runs into Dr. Fell, who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend. Bonnie struggles with the thought of Jeremy leaving town for his safety.

Favourite Quote: “Please don’t tell me you are going to drink the Klaus kool-aid.” –Damon

Likes:

Yes, best opening again naked Damon in the shower and in a towel just walking around like it’s all good. That kiss really put a little spring in his step.
Damon ripping the heart out of the hybrid – now that’s hot and badass; he’s a total heartbreaker and ripper.
Damon taunting the dead witching about the mysterious locked coffin that they can make one disappear but not open one.
Stefan threatening Klaus about the coffins, even leaving Elijah in the Arctic but then really making his point clear about killing the hybrids if Klaus doesn’t make them leave town by decapitating one of them right there.
Tyler stepping up to Klaus about his require to bite/kill Caroline. Good to know that despite his sire to Klaus that Tyler still won’t hurt Caroline. And telling that to Caroline along with saying that he loves her but that’s all ruined by an impulse bite which could mean certain death.
Best way to perk up a birthday – go to the graveyard. Works for me, except I never bring tequila with me have to keep that in mind. And it seems to make Caroline happy, it will so next time on your birthday try it.
Alaric saving Dr. Fell from the ex at the council meeting, always the white knight that’s for sure even when he’s not completely sure of what’s going on and laughs it off.
Klaus showing up to save Caroline which might only mean turning her into a hybrid – hopefully. And finally getting to see a side of Klaus that probably no one else has ever seem in his ‘billion’ years on this earth. However this might come at a new price and changed alliances once again. Even sweet to leave her a birthday present in the morning – infatuation might be something to distract Klaus.
Every episode should end or contain a sweet Delena moment, Damon always the hero for Elena when Stefan leaves her stranded.

Dislikes:

Elena just punching away at the pouching bag, just slap Stefan again seems to have a good frustration relieving effect.
Jeremy leaving town because of Damon compulsions for his safety just really want him and Bonnie to make up first before.
Tyler and Caroline’s talk, so sad because they make such a ‘power’ couple. Sad to see there might not be anymore hot passionate love scenes between them.
Klaus having a morning moment for Rebekah while she lay in her coffin, how fake and sentimental even for him.
Caroline’s downer about her 18^th birthday which dead or not should be a good day either way.
Dr. Fell bringing up the ‘vampire problem’ to Alaric only to find out that Klaus is corrupting the city with money and hybrids.
Bonnie being made at Elena for trying to protect the people that she loves, she feels helpless as it is compared to the vampires, werewolves and hybrids.
Matt still miserable about losing Elena and then Caroline but to see his heart still breaking, while wanting everyone else to be happy.
Stefan ‘kidnapping’ Elena from the funeral/birthday party – let me guess another trip to the middle of nowhere. If anyone should turn her into a vampire it should be Damon and no Stefan and his crazy idea to win against Klaus talk about being drastic. Even if it seems killing Elena on the same bridge her parents died on and where Stefan saved her.
Bluffing? No one is bluffing they just all seem crazy because clearly they aren’t playing cards at all.
Jeremy leaving, just glad that Bonnie made it there just in time to say good-bye not really a make-up but will take it he’s got the time.

WTF:

The medical examiner and ex-boyfriend to Dr. Fell found dead by stake in the woods – someone has blood on their hands and it might just be a Doctor.
