Secret Circle Recap: “Family”
Original Air Date (The CW): Thursday May 10^th–2012
Season 1 Episode 22

Favorite Quote:  “Its power is more than I have ever experienced. It’s dark and seductive.” – Cassie

Faye haven been taken by Eben and the witch hunters is being held as leverage against the Circle. As well as the Circle no longer has much trust for John Blackwell having manipulated their parents. Eben only wants one of the crystals so they can’t form the skull in exchange for Faye’s release. They believe their circle magic has the strength to stop the witch hunters. Not only does the circle now realize but so does Charles and Dawn with all this his lies and manipulation know that they need John’s help now more than ever. However, when the skull is joined together from the crystals then the bond connecting the circle will be broken.

The joining of the crystal with John, Cassie and Diana seems to not only give strength to the individuals of the circle but also weakens them. The power of the skull brings out the power hunger in both John and Cassie but Cassie is the one with the intentions of bringing down Eben. John has some other plans for the skull as well as trying to make Cassie and Diana the witches they were always meant to be. Diana and Cassie realize again that John is trying to do the same thing he tried to do to their parents. They find out that the skulls real use is used to kill witches that aren’t from the Balcoin bloodline. With Adam trying to help but Cassie become conscious her power isn’t strong enough alone she unleashes Diana’s powers to fight again John.

With the circle now unbind, Jake, Adam and Melissa are on watch of the ferry to try and release Faye. Faye is able to release herself with her powers back but her attitude always seems to get the better of her. They find Faye in the ferry and Jake whether out of concern or just passion gives her a kiss but Eben ruins it and is determined to rid of them. Soon they are all tied up with only Adam or Diana and Charles to come and save them at this point while the ferry burns again. Jake finally gets the revenge that he’s been secretly harboring and probably part of the reason why he joined the witch hunters before joining the circles.

Charles contacts his mother so they she can get back his and Dawn’s powers to help protect the children. Only to find out that when they power was taken away it was destroyed but Charles’s mother most likely because of Diana is willing to hand over her powers to them. Charles also informed her about Diana and his mother feels the same way that no matter what Diana is theirs and always will be. Charles and Diana make it in time to the ferry because anyone is hurt while Charles tries to get the demons out of Eben, Diana goes to save Jake, Faye and Melissa. Charles then sacrifices himself taking on the demons for Diana and to save them all from Eben and the witch hunters.

In the end they debate if they should rebound the circle or not, some are for and some are against the idea. Diana at this point really just wants to get out of town most likely with Grant and take that cross country drive far away from Chance Harbor since she is feeling totally lost without her father. Jake and Faye are confused with their feels again for each other and Faye back to herself that she was before the circle was bound. Jake gets a note from his grandfather that this isn’t over. Adam takes possession of the skull only to be absorbed by it. Cassie and Diana are now marked with the Balcoin symbol that is soon to be joined by more.

Vampire Diaries Recap: “Heart of Darkness”
Original Air Date (The CW): Friday April 19^th–2012
Season 3 Episode 19

Favorite Quote: “I don’t want to live up to anyone’s expectations.” – Damon

Due to the new developments of handing over the white oak and the possibly danger that Jeremy might face because of Klaus; Elena and Damon (under Stefan’s recommendation) decide to go to Denver to collect Jeremy to keep him safe. Stefan suggested they go because he thinks Elena has some unresolved feelings for Damon and somehow a trip away is the best way to uncover them, personally it never seems to work out that way for the first party. Also because of Jeremy’s abilities they hope to use him to gain sire information from beyond the grave from Rose despite Kol’s constant intruding and beatings.

Alaric has decided until they understand more of Samantha Gilbert’s intentions that it’s best to be locked away so no one else gets hurt. Stefan also stays to play watchdog and help Klaus find the last few of the white oak stakes to insure that the bloodlines of the vampires remain alive. Alaric uses what is left of Stefan’s weakness but Stefan over comes it to find out where the last stake is unfortunately it’s in the cave. As always the originals have a plan to get it but Alaric tries to strike a deal with Rebekah who really isn’t who we thought she has always been.

Caroline sneaks away from planning another school dance leaving it all in Rebekah’s hand while she goes to see Tyler. They are so happy to see each other after so long and all that’s happened that they just can’t keep their hands off each other. They moment is ruined when Caroline reveals about the vampire bloodlines if an original is killed which means there is a chance that Tyler might die. They make up a bit only for Tyler to find the drawing from Klaus making Tyler question what might have happened while he was gone.

Esther makes her return to reveal that she is dying, despite having her own children out to kill her. It seems that the powers that Esther was drawing from were from the Bennett line and since Abby’s death it has weakened her. Then with one last breath and it’s goodbye to Esther or who we thought was Esther.

Have to say personally the best moment is when Elena is sleeping and Damon wakes up for a drink causing Elena to wake up and watch him in his moment of reflection. Damon notices Elena watching him, so he goes over to lie beside her. They talk about Rose’s finally moments while their hands come together but Elena gets out of the bed as if still scared of her feelings for Damon. Elena goes outside and the teasing moment from the dream and the happy moment from that last kiss are all shattered with the passion of this kiss but Jeremy has information before it can go anywhere else.

As always for those that are team Delena think that we are going to get Elena and Damon together finally, something happens and Damon snaps back to the heartless man that we came to love leaving all those on team Stelena.

Secret Circle Recap: “Crystal”
Original Air Date (The CW): Friday April 19^th–2012
Season 1 Episode 19

The Circle looks for the other crystals in order to strengthen their magic against the witch-hunters but some possible family secrets are discovered along the way. Cassie and Jake team up with Faye as a tag along but Callum isn’t far behind stirring things up and even starting a fight. They find a ‘conspiracy wall’ in Jake’s grandpa’s house that contains theories about witches from Salem to Satan along with a list of the Circle. Jake’s Grandpa Royce comes home and informs that the Circle will be the death of all of them.

The theory is John wanted to corrupt the circle with dark magic by using the children of the last circle to create it. There is more than one Blackwell child in the Circle, and because of the journal found it’s possibly Faye which would explain quite a bit. As well at the pieces of the crystal together form a crystal skull which is the most powerful of any talisman for a witch to use.

Grant attempts to make this better with Diana before he has to ship out. The date is overshadowed by the searching of the crystals. Diana wanted Grant to be honest with her but she’s not quite ready to reveal her little secret to him just yet leaving Grant to stand alone while Diana deals with the Circle.

Cassie’s Grandma Jane finally comes home and seems to be back to normal since the last visit at the clinic. John tries to talk to Charles but fails leading to an argument but Charles shows up for a meeting and spell with Jane. Eventually, John is over for tea but Charles uses the crystal on his with all intentions of burning him. Jane wants to know first if John really had anything to do with Amelia’s death. Charles’s rash actions lead to a back fire in the plan and not on him, well not yet.

Interesting fact, Royce’s crystal was hidden in an iron ore mine and magic doesn’t work when iron is present. And here from what has been personally read that that only affects fae or faeries and not witches. Also the mine was spelled against dark magic and Cassie as well as Diana wasn’t able to get in.

Secret Circle Recap: “Curse”
Original Air Date (The CW): March 22^nd–2012 
Season 1 Episode 17

Favorite Quote: “Maybe we aren’t the dating kinda soul mates.” –Cassie

Destiny might just be a curse. Adam and Cassie finally learn about the consequences to their actions which would explain the crows at the end of the last episode. After their night together they reminisce about the first time they did magic together, even then we knew that this moment was coming. There is a curse between the two families and the birds were a harbinger.

Faye shows her real feelings for Lee (or obsessed according to her friends) since she hasn’t seen him since the casino night. The girls have her back while trying to look for Lee since Faye is convinced that something has happened with him. Which really as far as we know when Jake left town she never thought twice about him until he returned. She and Eva’s moments bring back that guarded and sharp-tongued Faye that just seems to get to us. As well as learning that Eva’s powers are really Faye’s which might just show that Faye is a very powerful witch despite what she says sometimes and it’s reflected in Eva because of what Lee did to save her. The look on Faye’s says it all when she sees Lee’s current state. Not quite sure how breaking the stick just takes the power away that helped bring her back and not take her back to her almost dead state.

Cassie visits her grandmother to learn about the curse. She doesn’t remember (thanks to Dawn and Charles) who Cassie really is thinking it’s her daughter. Making it seem like someone’s jealousy for the fate between the Blakes and Conants, that cut away of John’s face seems to reveal something. Someone in the circle is cursed to die which seems to affect more of the love triangle since Jake is stricken with something. Conveniently, John has a cure/spell to break the curse. John must see himself in Jake to help with all this.

Can really see how the relationships in the circle and recent events still stab a few hearts like the expression on Diana’s face when the circle is informed about Cassie and Adam’s activities. Even Jake while in the process of dying doesn’t seem to be pleased and sure isn’t fairing well. Jake even feels the needs to ask questions, tease and be jealous thinking he’s the one that belongs to be with Cassie and not Jake. This could be quite possibly the same feelings or events that John might have experienced when Amelia and Ethan were together before.

Not sure of the true intentions of Dawn and Charles, first it was all about getting their powers back while hiding the fact that their children have the circle. Now it seems they are all about finding out more so about John’s return and about what John is doing.

The moment with Cassie and Adam with the elixir is so moving almost reminds me about the Romeo and Juliet end scene with the poison. Most people might think that messing with love might be along the lines of dark magic which is something Cassie most of all is trying to get away from. It’s so odd to see the morning after effect of the elixir, so different from the day before almost awkward and strange. Yet, heartbreaking that Cassie is the only one left with all the feelings and memories while Adam gets to walk away like nothing happened but sometimes you don’t need an elixir for that.

Overview:  John Blackwell searches for a device that will drain a witch’s power. Meanwhile, Faye is surprised when she meets a girl who claims to be Lee’s girlfriend; and Melissa encourages Diana to date a normal guy.

Likes:

• Faye and Dawn’s conversation about acting, pretending and dates – also that John is back
• Meeting in the coffee house about John and Adam asking Cassie to the casino night
• Adam helping Cassie finds out what John was looking for in the abandoned house and finding out that it’s a sway that can take away a witch’s power
• Melissa getting insightful about everything after the overdose
•  Mysterious Grant showing up at the casino night to hit on Diana
• Ethan telling Adam that not to let the past affect what him and Cassie’s relationship
• Lee showing up to apologize for lying to Faye and a kiss makes it all disappear
• Cassie and Adam making up and the cute moment when the tray got in the way of the kiss part of the make up
• The use of magic to win at poker – pretty sure Lee was helping…erm lucky charm
• Melissa giving Jake some advice about love and obsession with Cassie
• Matching stuffed monkey’s from Grant to Diana – really an Australian thing?
• Diana kissing Grant – looks like the wild girl is kind of back
• John trying to protect Cassie and the Circle by making a deal with Ethan about the whole thing
• Adam telling Cassie that he loves her 

Dislikes:

• Cassie and John talking about the evils of black magic and that it should not be used and rid of
• Lee’s girlfriend waking up and him acting like he just did what he had to do and was ever faithful even when Faye shows up then still can’t admit that Eva’s not really dead
• John telling that the sway only temporally transfer a witch’s power to a mortal
• Busted – Faye meeting Eva and finding out that Lee’s been lying to her the whole time and still continues like second nature
• Cassie and Adam fighting about who might be the one that is working with the witch hunters and Cassie runs to Jake
• Jake making a phone call – what does he have to say about Cassie?
• Dawn and John’s talking in the hallway – was the pinning and flirting necessary and why the need to find Ethan
•  Eva showing up at the casino night and found Lee and Faye together flirting and make Faye feel like the rebound or phase
• Discovering that Ethan was the one that stabbed John in the parking lot
• Lee’s ummm dead? What did Eva do? What kind of power does she have?

WTF:

• Random Grant and his knowledge on champagne and just always popping out of nowhere  
• Eva staying she came back from the dead – wait, what?
• All the birds/crows at the end

Original Air Date: February 16^th–2012

Overview:  An evil figure from Cassie’s past arrives in town and asks her for the medallion she found in the charred remains of her house after a fire killed her parents. Later, Cassie is kidnapped by a band of witch hunters. Meanwhile, Faye and Diana become concerned when Melissa starts spending more time with Callum.

Favorite Quote:  “Our family line is pure evil thing.”  –Cassie

Likes:

•  Cassie’s Grandmother is back but not really as she just wants to sleep in her own bed only to be scared half to death by Jake who thought someone was in the house
• Cassie got a job while Adam gives her so pointers – someone is being a normal teenager
• John, Cassie’s father shows up at the door and makes an interesting entrance
• Cassie’s talk with her father at the pier, so real and emotional even with him now wanting to protect her and wanting the medallion
• Melissa and Callum’s moment(s) at the party cute but still kind of weird and creepy for the moment part
• Jake telling the witch hunters that he will turn over John for Cassie’s safety
• Faye finding out about the totem from Lee from Melissa and Faye finally seeing some light in Lee’s white lies
• Lee and Callum’s little fight over the witches and their powers – was kind of amusing in a non-violent and cocky kind of way
• John not wanting to hurt Cassie to save his own life while she’s under the spell
• The Circle coming to the aid of Jake while under arrest by the witch hunter
• The Circle banding together to restore Cassie’s free well before killing her father
• John is staying despite the fact there is no medallion and for Cassie
• John thanking Jake for protecting Cassie and wanting to work together because ‘it’s only the beginning’
• Cassie going to the comfort of Adam’s arms

Dislikes:

• Faye being the ever supportive friend of Cassie’s new job at the coffee house when Callum shows up
• The odd moment between Cassie and her father about anyone knowing that he’s alive or back
• Melissa hanging out with Callum even after everything that happened at the anti-valentine sleepover
• Lee playing all nice and offering to with Faye and Diana to get Melissa from Callum’s party while his girlfriend lays in the next room with them unaware
• One of the witch hunters attacking Cassie in the car
• John almost breaking Jake’s arm for knowing there is something going on with Cassie that she’s been taken by the witch hunters
• Jake being handed over to the witch hunters for Cassie’s safety
• The witch hunter disappearing despite his injuries from the Circle and the tree
• Lee showing up in Faye’s room only to admit he’s going to find another way get her power  then kisses her – more bad choices while the mysterious girlfriend wakes up

WTF:

• The black drops that the witch hunter puts into Cassie’s eyes and mouth – which might be the ‘magic’ that gets Cassie to kill her own father

Original Air Date: February 9^th–2012

Overview:  Faye and Melissa throw a slumber party on Valentine’s Day and things get wild when Diana is given a mood-altering potion. Meanwhile, Cassie is haunted by the spirits of some vengeful witches.

Likes:

• Adam trying to ask Cassie out for Valentine’s Day but will go on a date on a less ‘pressure-filled’ date
• Jake attacking Isaac about the event on the boat only to find out that the medallion has now put them all in danger and to give it to the witch hunter – like that’s going happen
• Cassie running into Adam after seeing something in the basement of the abandoned house only to discover nothing is there
• Diana finally having some fun at the slumber party to turn the pizza guy hot but ends up kissing Lee and not the pizza boy until he does show up and kisses him too
• The girls using the Ouija board to contact the ‘ghosts’ that Cassie saw and the medallion spells out ‘SACRED’
•  Jake finally has a moment of clarity and decides it time to find Cassie and tell her about the medallion
• Adam having set up a little romantic night on the boat and was waiting when Jake shows up and both realize that something might have happened to Cassie
• Diana standing up to Faye about the friendship with Melissa
• Cassie destroying the medallion to save Adam and preventing from handing it over to Isaac
• Faye and Diana making sure that no one leave Melissa as a friend
• Cassie seeing the boat Valentine’s Day dinner set up – all wrapped in a kiss

Dislikes:

• Faye waking up in bed with Jake – big mistake and mistake round two
• Lee showing up with a ‘creepy doll’ to see Faye after returning back – way to that girl’s heart is magic
• Adam giving in to allow Jake to help if he has any information only for Jake to not tell Cassie about what is going on with what Isaac told him
• Melissa and the devil’s spirit while convincing Diana to try it – sharing is caring but hugs not drugs
• The medallion moving against the kitchen island and the hooded beings multiplying
• Jake meeting with Isaac again learning that the medallion with kill them and the people after Cassie is the witches that want their powers back
• The witches using the medallion to choke Cassie while she’s driving to meet with Adam causing an accident
• Cassie chasing after the hooded dead witches in the dark to possible the church where they were killed which gives them more power against her
• Melissa having a reaction to the devil’s spirit leaving Faye and Diana to help save her
• The dead witches possessing Adam in the church to get the medallion
• Lee using Faye to help heal/bring his girlfriend back

WTF:

• What is with the hooded man – this is nothing going to be like some bloody Valentine horror movie
• The hand at the end with the impression of the medallion in it

The Vampire Diaries | 03x14 – Dangerous Liaisons

Overview:  Elena attends a formal ball at Klaus’ newly renovated mansion and learns of a horrifying plan that could lead to numerous deaths

Bonus Favorite Quote: “No, I’m mad at you because I love you.” –Damon

Likes:

• Elijah to the rescue for once when Elena almost gets bitten by Rebekah in the parking lot of the hospital
• Klaus going off at Rebekah for going after Elena while they are getting all ‘vamped’ up for the party and his talk with his mother that is both stern and loving
• The dress and note Klaus sent to Caroline – someone’s feels are showing again
• Damon’s look on his face when he see’s Elena in her dress for the first time – that some look when he saw she coming down the stairs at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant
• Elena, Damon and Stefan in a row to escort Elena into the dance – or aren’t triangles fun
• Klaus seeing Caroline in the dress – time stopped
• Damon stepping in the way of Elena to protect her and then ask her to dance – ‘it is tradition’ not only for them but in general
• Klaus playing charming with Caroline while dancing and trying to be nice to her while bringing up the dress and bracelet both from him
• Elijah is just as cautious and curious about this meeting of Elena and Esther as everyone is seems to be
• Klaus admits to Caroline that he ‘fancy her’ but is kind of shut down but doesn’t really give up because he over rules Tyler because of the sire bond but shows his passion of drawing and painting. Wanting to take her anywhere she desires but all the niceties run low
•  Damon tells Elena that he loves her – that’s the problem?? Really?
• Damon stopping Kol from trying to hurt Matt but seems it’s all about the problems tonight
• Caroline sees the box that the bracelet arrived in on her bed but instead there is a drawing in replace of it of her and a horse
• Drinking like nothing else matter Damon has returned

Dislikes:

• Alaric in the hospital and Matt is there to be the very supportive but out of the loop friend
• That Caroline’s dad got into Tyler’s head about ‘fixing him’ away from everyone and by himself
• Rebekah inviting Matt to the ball in front of Elena and Caroline at the grill
• Elena being told that in order to see Esther that she must be alone without her escorts
• Elena being spun and bumped into Stefan while Caroline and Matt also Rebekah and Damon end up dancing – talk about tension
• Stefan willing to stand down while Elena goes to talk to Esther and ‘disabling’ Damon in the process
• Rebekah thinking that killing Matt will be the stab in the back that Elena deserves
• Kol really itching to kill something and by something meaning Matt – talk about impatient despite Rebekah changing her mind about it all
• Stefan accusing Damon of caring too much and getting in the way of the ‘plan’ – maybe the problem is Stefan doesn’t care enough  
• Elena lying to Elijah who has always seemed to sided with her and the team and allows him to drink of the magic – but doesn’t seem like much of a drink
• That Elijah despite his morals might be doomed to the fate of death when one of the other dies
• Stefan is as heartless as ever when it comes to his allies and the people that trust him
• Elena trying to coax some feeling out of Stefan – he’s died inside, no pun intended
• Rebekah trying to play nice with Matt but then thinks she should have gone through with it
• Damon and Rebekah getting it on – wrong on so many level, stop being around girls that used to like/love your brother might help

WTF:

• Esther knows of a way to undo the vampire curse but needs Elena’s assistance to kill Klaus with magic but will take time – by linking them as one. She feels as a mother that she created them so it’s her duty to kill them, now that’s a mother’s love for you.

Overview: Cassie receives a warning about the return of the witch hunters and asks for the Circle’s help. Later, her true feelings for Adam and Jake surface at a birthday party; and Faye and Melissa take their powers to a frightening new level.

Likes:

•  The witty teasing between Jake and Faye after running into each other on the street
• Ethan and Diana team up to throw Adam a surprise birthday party but it’s blown before it gets into planning when Adam’s shows up
• Cassie and Jake working together to understand the powers of the medallion and Jake tackles Cassie to get her to move while Adam walks in to find them on the floor together
• They go to Lucy to find out more about the medallion that it needs to be unlocked and could be used for the good to protect the circle
• Delissa – love it, new ship and super duo of Diana and Melissa but then never take things seriously when ‘devil’s spirit’ is involved
• Ethan getting all emotion during Adam’s birthday toast which gets an awkward silence until Diana gives her toast really giving an insight to their friendship and relationship 
• Cassie and Adam’s interaction at the birthday party but really could do without the jealousy but gave her back the medallion
• Lucy stabbing Dawn after being invited into Dawn’s house – didn’t see that coming
• Cassie remembering how to use the medallion in order to stop it from taking away the circle’s magic and using it along with finding out her father really is still alive
• Charles using the crystal on Dawn to bring her back to live
• All the cookies falling out of the cupboard and putting a smile on Adam’s face
• Lucy getting her throat cut by one of the witch hunters for her ‘failure’

Dislikes:

• Adam being upset about Cassie and Jake going to dig up her father’s grave to see if he’s really dead – can’t play the protective boyfriend when you aren’t
• Faye and her new found ‘devil’s spirit’ to liven up the party – really? Drugs? Next you’ll be saying is that they are herbal and medicinal
• Dawn showing up to Lucy’s hotel room after Jake and Cassie to confront the past again a bit and about the crystals
• The medallion goes missing from the hiding stop in the fireplace mantel
• Melissa all out of it and Faye well just being Faye at the party – remember kids drugs are bad
• Charles talking to Ethan and slipping something into his drink – for a bartender he doesn’t remember rule one: never leave your drink unattended even for a moment
• Callum showing up to the party with more ‘supplies’ and stirring the pot a little with Jake
• The silence from Jake when Cassie asked if he’s ever murdered a witch
• Cassie admitting that Adam was right about Jake
• Charles stealing the crystal from Ethan
• Lucy working with the witch hunters in order to take the magic from the circle
• Melissa meeting up with Callum for more ‘devil’s spirit’ while Jake and Faye rekindle and old flame

WTF:

• A woman who was the girl telling Cassie to get out of the boat house in Jake’s memory is now remembering her and came to find her – that’s something new

The Vampire Diaries | 03x13 – Bringing Out the Dead
Original Air Date: February 2^nd–2012

Overview: Klaus hosts a dinner party with Damon, Stefan and Elijah when an unexpected guest arrives; Sheriff Forbes shares upsetting news with Alaric and Elena about a weapon used in a murder. Caroline’s father struggles with the idea of living forever as the one thing he despises most in the world. Bonnie and her mother join powers (or lack thereof) to trying and open the sealed coffin.

Likes:

• Elijah is back and with bite to a great opening scene of a Klaus and Elijah fight where Klaus tells him that Michael is dead.
• Bonnie trying to help her mother to get her powers back and their bonded bloodline will help to unseal the coffin but there is something blocking her mom from having that power again  - as the coffin that is sealed opens for her while Bonnie is off to contact Damon
• Caroline’s awesome super vampire hearing to be able to her dad’s phone going off only to discover he’s dead too – or possible because the vampire blood was still in his system
• Elena’s concern for Alaric’s safety and is feelings when it comes to the possible murderous Dr. Fell
• The dinner party with stalling for Bonnie, sarcasm, grumpy Stefan, charming Damon and the interesting story about the love of both Elijah and Klaus, whose blood was the one that brought them new life
• Matt being always the good friend despite his own confusions about everything but not cool about all the blood in the house
• The coffin being unsealed by Bonnie and her mother but not really sure what might be in it since Bonnie was left knocked out and her mother is nowhere to be seen
• The touching moment between Caroline and her father even though he’s basically choosing to let himself die so he’s not a monster
• The Elijah is still on team Damon/Stefan/Elena or ‘the good side’ while presenting the daggers as the awakened family from the unsealed coffins show up with Rebekah to have a little revenge on Klaus – its family business
• The moment between Damon and Stefan in the end reflecting on the incident with Klaus and their love for Elena

 Dislikes:

• That Elena’s prints are on the stake that was used to kill the medical examiner that is from Elena’s parent’s collection of vampire slaying weapons
• Stefan trying to pin the medical examiner’s death on Damon – which is odd because even Damon was surprised about the stake
• Still don’t like the idea of Dr. Fell using vampire blood on patients and feels there is no consequences to her actions
• Stefan’s jealously about the kiss is really setting his jerk-tastic attitude to a new level and kind of annoying most of all when it comes to discussions with Damon – always back to the kiss not the black is more villainy looking idea
• Caroline all upset about Tyler and not hearing from in along with her father not wanting to be a vampire – sappy mushy moment about dad’s with some indie music overlaid until Matt shows up (please not this whole Matt thing again)
• Klaus saying that the worst thing for Elena is Damon and Stefan – kind of true but no don’t say that but not the suggestion that Matt is a better alternative so that Klaus can a sure that more doppelgangers are made
• Alaric found in the house with a knife in him and blood everywhere – that blood on someone’s hands is really getting slippery and thankful he’s alive probably in thanks to the ring. And Elena having to finish him off so he can come back to life
• Klaus not daggered as we call hoped, Rebekah threatening to kill Elena and the family falling apart

WTF:

• Klaus’s mother showing up to forgive him (probably for sealing her in the coffin) and wanting to bring the family back together

The Secret Circle: 01x11 – Ice/Fire

Overview: Adam asks Cassie to the Fire and Ice Winter dance when he helps her research her father’s past. Meanwhile, Faye tries to conduct a spell that will grant her individual magic, but it has terrifying consequences.

Favorite Quote: “Never judge a book by its lip-gloss.” –Lee

Likes:

• The moment with Adam and his father, cute but overly emotional but makes Adam see that he does have feelings for Cassie.
• Adman asking Cassie to the dance – take notes boys if you make it not a big thing and at cool it gets the girl. Not every girl needs the limo, flowers and flashing banner.
• Adam helping Cassie find out more about her father even if it only influences the connection between them; what a sneaky tactic he used too, charm will get you everywhere.
• At least someone in the group has brains; if not for Adam they might have had no idea what Faye was up to. Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to mess with things you don’t know anything about?
• Diana finally getting to have some fun and dancing with that cute guy Aaron and not think about Adam, while Adam is on the sidelines to watch this time to think about the past. Understanding that Melissa is still morning her lost love Nick.
•  The theme of the Fire and Ice dance which was inspired by the Robert Frost poem about the end of a relationship, being so fitting for Diana and Adam’s break-up.
• Never stand in the way of Destiny; an Adam and Cassie kiss.

Dislikes:

• Really? You all are witches and want to be normal high school students that help with the dance and what not? Lame.
• Faye’s attitude, it was cute in the beginning but really starting to wear thin. Like really, stop trying to be the center of attention, don’t know you it might lead to something bad. Learn basic witch code; times 3.
• Faye’s spell affecting everyone else in the circle besides Cassie, and finally having a moment of clarity over it all – for a moment but didn’t last long before blowing up at everyone.
• Ethan giving Cassie suspecting looks in the parking lot like she was the one that was to blame for the fire in the school.  
• Faye running back to Lee – stop being that girl.
• Jake ruing the Adam and Cassie kiss in the basement of the abandoned house that Cassie’s father used to own.

WTF:

• No parents this time trying to work behind the circles back or are they still recovering from the Charles and Dawn kiss.

The Vampire Diaries: 03x11 – Our Town

Overview: Elena, Bonnie and Matt plan a surprise 18th birthday party for Caroline. Meanwhile, Damon and Stefan disagree over the best way to handle Klaus; and Alaric runs into Dr. Fell, who is in the middle of an argument with her ex-boyfriend. Bonnie struggles with the thought of Jeremy leaving town for his safety.

Favourite Quote:  “Please don’t tell me you are going to drink the Klaus kool-aid.” –Damon

Likes:

• Yes, best opening again naked Damon in the shower and in a towel just walking around like it’s all good. That kiss really put a little spring in his step.
• Damon ripping the heart out of the hybrid – now that’s hot and badass; he’s a total heartbreaker and ripper.
• Damon taunting the dead witching about the mysterious locked coffin that they can make one disappear but not open one.
• Stefan threatening Klaus about the coffins, even leaving Elijah in the Arctic but then really making his point clear about killing the hybrids if Klaus doesn’t make them leave town by decapitating one of them right there. 
• Tyler stepping up to Klaus about his require to bite/kill Caroline. Good to know that despite his sire to Klaus that Tyler still won’t hurt Caroline. And telling that to Caroline along with saying that he loves her but that’s all ruined by an impulse bite which could mean certain death.
• Best way to perk up a birthday – go to the graveyard. Works for me, except I never bring tequila with me have to keep that in mind. And it seems to make Caroline happy, it will so next time on your birthday try it.
• Alaric saving Dr. Fell from the ex at the council meeting, always the white knight that’s for sure even when he’s not completely sure of what’s going on and laughs it off.
• Klaus showing up to save Caroline which might only mean turning her into a hybrid – hopefully. And finally getting to see a side of Klaus that probably no one else has ever seem in his ‘billion’ years on this earth. However this might come at a new price and changed alliances once again. Even sweet to leave her a birthday present in the morning – infatuation might be something to distract Klaus.
• Every episode should end or contain a sweet Delena moment, Damon always the hero for Elena when Stefan leaves her stranded.

Dislikes:

• Elena just punching away at the pouching bag, just slap Stefan again seems to have a good frustration relieving effect.
• Jeremy leaving town because of Damon compulsions for his safety just really want him and Bonnie to make up first before.
• Tyler and Caroline’s talk, so sad because they make such a ‘power’ couple. Sad to see there might not be anymore hot passionate love scenes between them.
• Klaus having a morning moment for Rebekah while she lay in her coffin, how fake and sentimental even for him.
• Caroline’s downer about her 18^th birthday which dead or not should be a good day either way.
• Dr. Fell bringing up the ‘vampire problem’ to Alaric only to find out that Klaus is corrupting the city with money and hybrids.
• Bonnie being made at Elena for trying to protect the people that she loves, she feels helpless as it is compared to the vampires, werewolves and hybrids.
• Matt still miserable about losing Elena and then Caroline but to see his heart still breaking, while wanting everyone else to be happy.
• Stefan ‘kidnapping’ Elena from the funeral/birthday party – let me guess another trip to the middle of nowhere. If anyone should turn her into a vampire it should be Damon and no Stefan and his crazy idea to win against Klaus talk about being drastic. Even if it seems killing Elena on the same bridge her parents died on and where Stefan saved her.
• Bluffing? No one is bluffing they just all seem crazy because clearly they aren’t playing cards at all.
• Jeremy leaving, just glad that Bonnie made it there just in time to say good-bye not really a make-up but will take it he’s got the time.

WTF:

• The medical examiner and ex-boyfriend to Dr. Fell found dead by stake in the woods – someone has blood on their hands and it might just be a Doctor.
