St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lethbridge, Alberta
Lethbridge’s oldest cemetery dating back to before the turn of the 20th century, people even traveled miles to be buried here even at the risk of accidents and more death. No one knows for certain how many people are actually buried here since many are unmarked, destroyed markers or no records. There are graves before regulations of government and the church came in to control cemeteries, so some where just placed where ever they wanted. As well as any people that weren’t baptized were placed in a separate which much of it as well remains unmarked.
